Applying for an Annual Practising Certificate (APC)

You are able to apply to renew your APC online from mid-February to early April each year.

You should allow 2 weeks for your fully completed APC application to be processed, if not applying online.

Please note: all first time APC applicants and return to practice APC applicants must provide evidence of a current Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS) (2 hour minimum) with their APC application and are therefore unable to apply online at present.

Non-practising this year?

If you wish to remain on the Register without a current APC you must pay an annual Inactive Maintenance (IM) fee, which includes a disciplinary levy that all registrants pay annually. Contact the Board if you wish to be removed from the Register in order to avoid this fee.

You are able to make your non-practising declaration and payment online from mid-February to early April each year.

At other times the PDF application form linked below must be completed and emailed or posted to the Board.
