NZ graduates

The Bachelor of Health Science in Podiatry at the Auckland University of Technology (AUT) is the only qualification currently offered in New Zealand which leads to registration with the Podiatrists Board.

In order to practice in New Zealand, podiatrists must be registered with the Podiatrists Board AND hold a current Annual Practising Certificate (APC).

Application for Annual Practising Certificate (APC) 2016/ 2017: This APC will expire 31 March 2017.

Please note:

  • there is a reduced APC fee of $247.75 for new NZ graduates who have not been registered with any Registration Authority before, for the period 1 December to 31 March.
  • all first time APC applicants must provide evidence of a current CPR certificate (including AED and anaphylaxis), to accompany their APC  application.
